Dreams Come True…

This is the first airplane ride for the kids…heading to Disney and Cocoa Beach for 10 days..yeah!

The first night we were there we had dinner at Chef Mickey’s! This was great. Not only did the kids get to see Mickey and Minnie, they also got to see Goofy, Donald, and Pluto. I think this was one of Mason’s favorite things!

Day 1: Magic Kingdom ..The kids LOVED it. Splash Mountain and Big Thunder rollercoaster were their faves!!

These are at Disney Quest…4 floors of arcade: Day 2

Day 3: Back at Magic Kingdom

Our hotel: All-Star Sports was great! It was themed in HUGE sports items..footballs (which you know is our favorite) basketballs, surfboards…it was really neat. The pools were great too.

We had a wonderful trip…Mali also got to eat at Cinderellas’ Royal TAble (which is almost impossible to get reservations). I will put some pics up of her special dinner later. Mia was AWESOME…we couldn’t have asked for her to be any better. She just rode in her stroller and slept and played. It was a great time. And yes, McKaila is too cool for Disney. She flew down later in the week in time for the beach.

My new hat…..

I couldn’t resist showing off the new hat her Sissy Tosha got her. She is so popular and fashion (as Mali would say). Too Cute!!

Just a swinging….

Mia’s first time swinging at Project Playground here in Hoptown. The kids love going here and this is the first time Mia got to enjoy it. I am sure it is only the beginning.

Pumpkin Patch

In early October we took a trip to Jackson’s Orchard in BG to meet up with my family. It is always good to see my niece and nephews. Baby Jake is up at the top with Mia. In the bottom left is my sister, my nephew, and Mac. The kids had a great time riding ponies, feeding animals, jumping on the bouncer, playing on the hay, and of course taking a hayride to the pumpkin patch. I think the caramel apples were a hit too!

Birthday Girl!

I can’t believe our baby turned 14. How crazy……we surprised her with a trip to Nashville with her BFF Elizabeth at PF Chang’s. YUMMY!!! She lovest this place and it is also my fave!! On her actual bday she had to cheer at a game, so we had chocolate chip muffins for breakfast, shopped for part of the day, and an early dinner followed by Strawberry Cheesecake. No, this isn’t the end, this weekend I will be supervising over 40 teenagers for her bday bash at our friends the Bealles. Thanks guys for hosting!!

Apple Orchard

Mason’s class took their annual trip to the Apple Orchard. He had a blast picking apples, on the hayride, playing in the corn, and petting the animals. As you can see in the last pic, he was worn out from all of the fun. He passed out in the car while eating his caramel apples. He even woke up long enough to give them to me and say it’s ok mom, you can eat them…and I did.

5 months and cuter than ever…

Growing like a weed! I can now scoot or push myself backwards to get where I want to go. I can scoot around in circles. I can push up and kick my legs like crazy trying to crawl. I am starting to sit up for a few moments at a time. I love watching my brother and sisters act silly!

Labor Day Heat Wave…

Most of you know how extremely hot it was Labor Day weekend. Well, our cooling unit decided to go out…and yes it is only 4 years old. So it was about 90 degrees inside our house. We had all we could stand and Brooke decided to take us to Paris Landing Resort in Tenn. (about 1 hour from here). It was really nice! And we had a great time. The kids swam…and worked on their diving, since Mali is now swimming. Mason just jumped in like a maniac! We also went on a nature walk. Mia seemed to have a good time as well. McKaila ditched us for the Bealles that weekend…she helped Celebrate her bestie Elizabeth’s bday.

T-I-G-E-R-S

We had our first HHS Tiger football game! We were all excited and decked out in our orange and black. McKaila did great (of course). She has really enjoyed it so far and has been dubbed as the “favorite freshman” by the older girls. Can you believe it costs $10 per person to get in a game these days???? Back when we went to football games it was only like $3…inflation go figure!!??!! Thanks to Mr. Breck Cayce for giving us his reserved seating tickets!! Homecoming is this week, can’t wait!

This is actually a light load today. I am typically feeding Mia in between. (She only gets 1-2 bottles per day) and picking up the house. Don’t forget homework! McKaila usually practices 2 days per week. mason will play soccer 2 days per week. Mali is hopefully going to start swim team and/or tennis (swim is 5 days per week). AND…I am going to start tennis lessons on Friday mornings and one night per week (like I need anything else! but I am hoping Brooke will take up the sport too so we can play together) And, I also go to a mom’s bible study on Monday mornings, which I LOVE!!!!

So, if any of you can help me get organized, I would love the tips and pointers. And I especially like it when my husband comes home and says “so what did you do all day?”
